Worms and Worm Gears

When space is limited, shafts are nonintersecting or at high angles, where speeds need to be reduced or for whatever reasons you need worms and accompanying worm gears.

Gearco can provide 1-4 start on most pitches and more based upon your needs (gear ratio is implemental in the efficiency of the Worm Theory and or Method). Any material can be used but most commonly we see gears made from Bronze (954 Bronze) or Iron (cast or ductile), and the worm made from a hardened Alloy.

We can use your prints and or broken parts to determine the material and hardness.
